Combination with Crestron hardware and automated control to give enterprises easier access to Condeco’s booking solution
New York, April 4, 2017 – Condeco announces that their award-winning room booking system now integrates with Crestron’s monitoring and scheduling software, Crestron Fusion®, and Crestron’s room scheduling touch screens. This provides a solution for automating everything from AV equipment to lights and shades, as Crestron Fusion will turn systems on and off in line with meeting times in Condeco’s master calendar.
This automation will contribute to on-going efficiency savings, empowering clients to manage room bookings as part of a wider smart building ecosystem. The integration comes as businesses increasingly turn to smart building technologies to achieve energy efficiency, cost savings, and green credentials.
Condeco, who won a Queen’s Award last year for Innovation, enables users to book meeting spaces directly from a web application, mobile app, or MS Outlook Add-in. With Crestron scheduling panels, bookings show up on screens outside each meeting room, and with Crestron Fusion, room usage data is available for management to analyze.
Companies with previous investment in Crestron room screens will be able to add the features and enhancements of Condeco software to this existing hardware through the new API.
The integration will also create a more streamlined experience for employees. Bookings created in the Condeco calendar can trigger certain Crestron default meeting pre-sets such as Presentation, Audio and Video Conferencing. Users benefit from smoother meeting experiences, as desired Crestron room actions such as powering up the TV or logging in to a video conference can be preset.
