Report discusses the need to accelerate the implementation of flexible seating in office spaces.

New York, June 9, 2021 – Condeco, a worldwide leader in workspace scheduling solutions, is among the Representative Vendors in the 2021 Gartner Market Guide for Resource Scheduling Applications. According to Gartner, “RSAs help organizations support a hybrid workforce and create a more space-efficient office portfolio. Organizations typically implement RSAs when transitioning from dedicated to shared seating, which has become a goal within many return-to-work strategies.” Furthermore, “Gartner defines RSAs as applications that support various aspects of space scheduling and space-related services in a corporate office. These applications simplify the process of finding available space and determining what amenities are provided. They are used to explore and reserve rooms, offices and workstations (shared desks), and also provide pandemic-related safety functions.”*

Among the key findings, this Gartner report states, “The COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing increase in hybrid working have accelerated the implementation of flexible seating in office spaces globally. This has, in turn, intensified the planned adoption of resource scheduling applications (RSAs) to manage flexible shared spaces, including desks, conference rooms and offices.” The reports adds, “Seventy-two percent of CFOs anticipate the corporate real estate (CRE) footprint will decrease in the next two years.”

“Clearly these factors mean more organizations will look to Condeco to help them address these needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner,” says Paul Statham, Chief Executive Officer, Condeco. “We consider that being the only vendor with a global presence and a 100 percent focus on resource scheduling makes Condeco one of the strongest choices for this rapidly growing business priority.”

“We are pleased with the findings in this 2021 Gartner Market Guide for Resource Scheduling Applications” continues Statham. “We believe that it certainly adds credibility to our claim as an innovative, global leader in the workspace scheduling market.”
