Check-in is the process of a user logging into a space, normally using a RFID card or PIN to identify themselves with the workspace and the booking. When a meeting room or workspace isn’t checked into within a pre-set timescale, the space can be ‘bumped’ or released back into the system for other users to book. This process improves the availablity of workspaces where people book spaces for work or meetings but do not show up, freeing up the spaces for others to use.
