DEKRA combined three offices across the Paris area into a single premise called DEKRA House in the Paris suburbs. This building became home to 700 employees, as well as a training department, and so the demand for meeting rooms was consistently high. However, DEKRA found that each of the three workplaces, due to be combined, ran different meeting room reservation processes, making it impossible to get an overall view of availability or to make changes quickly to reservations when required.

DEKRA evaluated various products and chose Condeco as the leading cloud-based option that would require minimal intervention or maintenance from their internal IT team. After a kick-off meeting with Condeco, DEKRA was able to deploy the solution quickly.
By bringing a total of 46 meeting rooms together on a single management platform, DEKRA is now about to deliver full visibility and flexibility to everyone within the DEKRA House building. The facility management department has complete control of space and capacity, with meeting room screens showing reservation information at each room. Additionally, employees can easily organize and manage meetings independently through the user-friendly Condeco platform, while reception agents can use the system to oversee the arrivals of external visitors.

Since deploying the Condeco solution, DEKRA employees have been satisfied with the ease with which they can book meeting spaces, as well as the increased fluidity and autonomy of the process. Thanks to increased utilization of meeting rooms and the time savings of more efficient bookings, DEKRA has also been able to further embrace the concept of an agile workplace, thereby enabling savings for the business in real estate costs.
