London, 5th October 2018 – Fergus Gloster, one of the foremost experts in Europe on building sales and marketing technology businesses, is to become a non-executive director of Condeco, the global workplace technology company. Gloster will work closely to help the company continue its global growth and advise on its evolution into a fully-fledged Software as a Service business.

Condeco has worked closely with Gloster for several years, after being introduced to the company by its investor Highland Europe. He was one of the founders of in Europe, helping the US business enter the market here after joining the US business from Oracle in 2000. After nine years at Salesforce, Gloster moved to marketing technology startup Marketo, as managing director Europe. Gloster is also a non-executive director at cloud contact centre company NewVoiceMedia, which was sold to US voice over internet company Vonage for $350m cash in September.

As well as holding senior roles at Salesforce and Marketo, Limerick-born Gloster, who has more than 25 years experience in technology and internet-based companies, is a non-executive director of AMCS, another Highland Europe portfolio company, and a non-executive director of retail management software company Brightpearl.
