Leaders behind Mitie Client Services join the market leader in workspace technology

21st July, London – Debra Ward and David Howorth, the duo behind outsourcing leader Mitie’s Client Services business, have joined Condeco’s leadership team as the workspace technology leader expands to meet new demand.

Debra Ward joins Condeco as Managing Director for EMEA, bringing formidable industry experience most recently serving as Managing Director for international FM leader Mace Macro. She was one of the driving forces in creating outsourcing specialist Mitie’s Client Services company, growing the division from a start-up to a £25m operation in just five years.

David Howorth was another instrumental figure in the success of Mitie Client Services, working closely with Debra and serving as her successor as Managing Director. He joins Condeco as Director of Operations for its EMEA business, bringing experience from eight successful years at Mitie and a career spanning hotels, pharmaceuticals, financial services and airlines.

Condeco Software is the world’s number one in technology for measuring and managing the workspace, and its sophisticated scheduling software and digital signage solutions are now used by more than 500 companies around the world, including Barclays, Chevron and Unilever. Sales grew by more than 300 per cent from £3.4m in 2011 to £10.4m in 2015, establishing the company in the prestigious Sunday Times Tech Track 100, which records the UK’s top technology companies.

Debra and David will bring valuable international and client services experience to help Condeco consolidate its leading global position with new growth and services as its innovative solutions attract the attention of leading blue chip brands looking to implement their digital workplace strategies.

The pair are recognised as prominent figures in the FM industry, with Debra recently named as one of the top 10 people in facilities management by the professional body RICS, and the 2014 Woman of Achievement by Women in the City. During Debra and David’s tenure, Mitie Client Services also won BIFM Supplier of the Year 2012, National Training Award, 2010 and BIFM Learning & Development Award 2013, and was recognised in the Sunday Times’ list of Top 100 Best Places to Work 2013. They will be formerly commencing their roles with Condeco this September.
