Desk types

There are three types of desks within Condeco – fixed, flexi and bookable.

Fixed desk

A fixed desk is assigned to a user (semi) permanently. Assigned users do not need to check in to their desks as they are checked in automatically. When not in use, fixed desks can be released for either half a day or a full day, to make them available to others.

If a user assigned to a fixed desk books a different desk, their assigned desk will be automatically released for the period that the alternative desk has been booked.

Once a fixed desk is released, it behaves like a regular bookable desk and can be booked by anyone with appropriate booking permissions.

Flexi desk

A flexi desk is similar to a fixed desk as it can also be assigned to a user for a specific period and released if it is no longer needed. However, unlike a fixed desk, check-in is not automatic so the user must check-in on arrival. If the user does not, the desk booking will be bumped.

Once a flexi desk is released or bumped, it behaves like a regular bookable desk and can be booked by anyone with appropriate booking permissions.

Bookable desk

A bookable desk is free to be booked by anyone with appropriate booking permissions.
