Administrators can set or remove mandated remote working days for individual users on the Availability Calendar. When a remote working day is set, users will not be able to make a booking in the office. Administrators can also override remote working days set by Team Assignment by removing the restriction on the Availability Calendar enabling the user to book a desk in the office.

How to mandate a user to work remotely

  1. Go to User Management.
  2. Enter the user’s name in the Find a user… search box and click to select.
  3. Click the Availability tab to view the calendar. An image is displayed on each date indicating the working status
  1. Right-click a date to set the working location or status. An administrator can set the user on individual days to Working remotely or Not working.
  1. A manually applied mandatory status can be reversed. Right-click the day and select Restore status.

How to remove restrictions for a remote working day

  1. Go to User Management.

  3. Click the Availability tab to view the calendar. An image is displayed on each date indicating the working status.
  1. Right-click the remote working date and click Remove restriction to allow the user to book a desk in the office.
