Use event management software to plan ahead for summer

Firms using event management software to control outdoor conferences are being advised to take extra precautions this summer.
According to Phil Grace, liability risk manager for Aviva, organisers face potential added liability risks when they host outdoor events.
As part of its Simply Safety campaign, Aviva noted businesses should plan ahead and asses potential problems that could be posed by such meetings.
Event management software may well be part of this forward-thinking approach.
Mr Grace said: "Contingency planning is just as important as risk assessment. Event organisers need to consider what could go wrong on the day and draw up a plan to deal with the emergency."
This approach could apply to smaller meetings as well as large events that see hundreds of attendees over the coming months, he added.
