Event management software may assist 2012 small business plans
Event management software could come in useful, following the launch of a fundraising programme for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Our Team 2012 was launched on July 26th and aims to raise finance for the upcoming Games to be held in the UK.
Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) will be asked to support the event and raise funds for the country's athletes, with the reward of business benefits.
SMEs will, for example, have access to hospitality events at a range of "prestigious venues", organisers revealed.
At such an occasion, event management software may well come in useful as a way of organising the meeting.
Nick Winch, 2012 coordinator for the Federation of Small Businesses, said: "If the business community feels that they have been engaging and building the project, then they are likely to be minded to support it in other ways."
The offer of complementary tickets may be an added incentive for SMEs to take up the Our Team 2012 scheme, he added.
