Corporate digital signage may be useful in castle renovation Corporate digital signage could be one consideration for developers of a 12th century castle.

The Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust is finalising a lottery bid worth £4.5 million to convert Cardigan Castle into a heritage centre, the BBC reports.

And digital signage software may prove useful if the plans go ahead, as it could enable the centre to organise meetings and events efficiently.

Chair of the trust Jann Tucker said: "I am very confident our bid will be successful - we have to be confident."

It received a £300,000 grant in 2008 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which meant plans for the renovation could be created.

Overall, the project is expected to cost £9.5 million to complete and the preservation body has also applied for funding from Ceredigion council and the Prince's Regeneration Trust.

The trust states it exists to "rescue important historic buildings from neglect and dereliction", as well as helping communities.
