Companies may use meeting room software to communicate with staff
Meeting room software could be critical to helping employers engage better with their staff as job satisfaction declines due to the pressure brought about reduced resources.
According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) quarterly employee outlook survey, job satisfaction has fallen by one per cent overall year-on-year.
This revelation was no surprise to Mike Petrook, head of public affairs at the Chartered Management Institute, who stated that dissatisfaction is stemming from the fact that people are overworked.
"With all the redundancies that have happened, people have not been replaced – and those who have been left behind have low morale," he explained.
He went on to urge employers to focus on interacting with their staff through better communication to remedy the situation.
Room booking software could allow companies to have a streamlined process in place for arranging communication forums.
According to the CIPD data, just like in previous quarters, men continue to be less satisfied with their jobs than women at.
