It is one of a number of developments under the initiative which aims to reduce the environmental impact of travel, improve safety and ease congestion.
Executive member for highways and strategic planning Elfan Ap Rees stated: "These combined works will bring the existing roundabout up to current standards, improve the efficiency of the junction 19 gyratory and approach roads and reduce the queue lengths on the approaches to the roundabout."
