Curo are one of the largest landlords in the West of England, owning more than 12,000 homes across the Bath and Bristol area. They own a range of property, from rural starter homes to Grade I Listed Buildings in the centre of Bath.

Challenge

Curo had been encountering a problem where reserved rooms either had no one turning up or people forgot to cancel unnecessary meetings. This was making it extremely difficult to find available rooms at short notice, so they wanted to implement a solution that would increase their meeting room utilization and minimize misuse of the booking system.

This would ensure that if a room had been reserved but unused, it would be automatically freed up for other people. After researching various workspace utilization technology providers, Curo identified that Condeco Meeting Room Booking Software and Meeting Room Touch Screens were the right solution for them.

Condeco Meeting Room Booking Software provided Curo’s staff an easy to use Outlook Add-in that made the management of bookings simple, fast and efficient.

Integration was a key feature that Curo required as they were introducing new ID cards as well as integrating with a range of their current systems. Condeco made this integration easy and the card now works with their room booking, door access and Virtual Desktop environment.

Condeco Meeting Room Booking solution implementation process was very straightforward. A Condeco consultant assessed their workplace environment and following this Curo chose to install and configure five Condeco Room Booking Touch Screens. Since then, Curo have found it easy to configure another eight screens themselves.

After the installation of the software and screens was complete, Curo saw the potential and positive impact Condeco’s visitor management feature could have within their organisation. Subsequently this has been introduced to make their visitor management process smoother, faster, more secure and more professional.
